great proximity to parks and local dining options
I had a great time exploring the nearby Townsend Park, just over a kilometer away, and enjoyed the delicious breakfast options at Emma Krumbee's Restaurant & Bakery, only 500 meters from the hotel, making my stay feel super convenient and fulfilling, especially as a family traveler. The hotel itself is perfect for families, offering a cozy space to relax after a day of adventure, but a bit more attention to cleanliness in common areas would definitely enhance the overall experience.

I loved the cozy decor in our King Room and the lovely view of the apple orchard next door. The indoor pool and hot tub were so relaxing after a long day! The bathroom could use a little update, but it didn't take away from our overall fun experience. 😊

Great stay for the family wedding
We had a solid night here! The location was a bit tricky to find, but nothing major. The staff helped me check in early, and the room was spacious with comfy beds. Breakfast was a hit, especially the waffle maker! One thing though, it got crowded in the dining area. Still, it was a pleasant surprise overall!

missingWrote a review on Jul 19spacious suitevariety breakfastpoor cleanliness
The family suite featured ample space for movement and a cozy setup perfect for relaxation. The breakfast area offered a variety of choices, including a waffle maker that my kids particularly enjoyed.
The noise levels from adjacent rooms were quite noticeable, with late-night conversations and laughter filtering in, making it tough to catch some shut-eye. Cleanliness could use a serious upgrade—sticky residues around the sink counter were concerning, and the towels had seen better days. Breakfast options, while plentiful, included some notably poor coffee and mediocre orange juice, taking a hit on what could've been a flavorful start to the day.

It was a smart choice for a weekend trip in Belle Plaine with good price value. The pool area was enjoyable, though there were no towels available. Make sure to bring your own water if you plan to swim.

Convenient location with plenty of parking and friendly staff. The pool area was nice and the rooms had a fresh appearance with a large TV. But the check-in experience was soured by a musty odor inside, and the ground floor room felt dark and dated. The breakfast lacked healthy options, focusing mainly on carbs. All things considered, this stay had its highlights but did not leave a lasting impression.
